Join us to see our new, interactive map that explores affordable housing trust funds and community preservation communities in Massachusetts. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about two technical assistance programs with application cycles opening soon: Intensive TA for Affordable Housing Trust Funds and a pilot program, Boards and Commissions Mini-Boost grant program. Dispute resolution for municipal boards and staff

Our work on housing sometimes involves conflict. This training will help us understand conflict, reflect on our personal conflict style, and offer suggestions for managing conflict in public meetings. During this session, you’ll learn about underlying dynamics of conflict and ways to reframe concerns to support resolution.

ADUs and the property tax exemption for affordable housing

Presented by Claire Morehouse, EOHLC; Eliot Schmiedl, MHP; and Doug Mishkin and Mary Brazie, Town of Egremont

There are many ways for communities to support housing development, even affordable housing development. In this session, speakers will share about the Massachusetts Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) law and new property tax exemption for affordable housing. MHP will outline a new ADU incentive program aimed at supporting the creation of ADU homes.
